Johnny Savage is a Dublin-based editorial and commercial photographer known for creating visually striking, story-driven imagery. He holds a BA (Hons) in Documentary Photography from the University of Wales, Newport, and an MFA in Photography from the University of Ulster, Belfast.
This documentary foundation continues to shape his work—bringing authenticity, clarity, and a strong sense of narrative to every project. Whether producing brand campaigns, portraits, short films or editorial features, Johnny approaches each assignment with a refined eye for detail and a commitment to crafting impactful visuals.
Recent clients include Enterprise Ireland, Vodafone, The Abbey Theatre, The Guardian, ESB Networks, LetsGetChecked, The Times, Intel, Xpeng, Bord Gáis, and Focus Ireland.
Johnny’s work has been exhibited at the National Gallery of Ireland (shortlisted for the Zurich Portrait Prize), Photo Museum Ireland, PhotoIreland Festival and Belfast Exposed Gallery. Film screenings include Achill Island Film Festival, The Complex Dublin and Signals2Noise Berlin.
